Club Riches Review
Since Club Riches is still very new, not many customer reviews are out there just yet. That said, on AskGamblers, feedback has been overwhelmingly positive, which is good to see. As a sportsbook and online casino that is only licensed in Curacao, Club Riches will mostly need to be judged on its own merit, but so far things are looking just fine.
Whilst there is one negative review on AskGamblers, there are no official complaints about Club Riches yet. Other reviewers also seem to have positive opinions about Club Riches, though none of them mention the newly added sportsbook yet.
In terms of trustworthiness, we see no reason to worry here. Of course, given that they are still new, we will have to keep an eye on them and continue to see how they conduct themselves. So far, we have not found anything that worries us, though we’d prefer to see one or two European licenses in the mix as well.
Cricket betting and other sports
Indian punters will find cricket at the top of the list of sports to bet on at Club Riches. Clearly, they know their audience. You have to option of using the top menu, which shows little tiles with the sports paraphernalia, or the menu on the left-hand side. Both are useful and will get you where you need to be.
Here you will find cricket betting options for events taking place in the near future. Indeed, when looking ahead further than two days, you will likely only find outright bets. Pre-match betting options are only populated for matches that are taking place within the next 48 hours. Live betting will see even more action.
At the time of our review, we found markets for the following events:
- International ODI Series
- International Test Series
- T20 World Cup
- Big Bash League
- National Cricket League, Women
- Ford Trophy
- Super Smash (Men’s and Women’s)
Overall, cricket betting options are solid, and it is obvious that Club Riches partnered with an experienced sportsbook provider, offering a good variety of events and markets to bet on. The available odds are also competitive, though don’t expect to find live streaming here.
Cricket aside, punters at Club Riches will also find kabaddi betting options, football (or soccer), tennis, basketball, ice hockey, floorball and more than 20 other sports on top of that.
Whilst you can navigate between sports and eSports in the left-hand menu, no results were showing up in the eSports section. Our guess is that this is still in development and eSports will be added soon here.
We were unable to see a cashout function, which doesn’t mean there isn’t one, but since this is a very new sportsbook, one may not be available at this time.
In any case, the sportsbook is easy to use and offers good functionality, though there are no highlights such as bet builders or other tools that we have seen at other sportsbooks.
Games and more
Club Riches started out as an online casino, and it still shows when you visit the site as you will land on the casino page and not in the sportsbook.
The casino is well-designed, offering indeed a club-like atmosphere, and feels quite welcoming. You’re able to sort games according to provider, of which there are more than 30. Some of the biggest and best in the industry have partnered with Club Riches, including NetEnt, Microgaming, Yggdrasil Gaming, Play’n GO, Push Gaming, Pragmatic Play, Red Tiger and many others.
Games can also be sorted according to categories such as slots, roulette, blackjack, jackpots, drops&wins and more.
Overall, you will find over 2,000 games at the library, which is a solid offering and likely satisfies most players.
Of course, there is also a live casino available, where players from India can enjoy games such as Andar Bahar and Teen Patti.
Our main gripes here are the lack of big international progressive jackpots, which are often unavailable at casinos with only a Curacao license. Additionally, video poker, keno, bingo or virtual games can only be found by using the search function, which is a little tedious.
Promotions and bonuses
If you decide to hit the ‘Join our Club’ button to register an account at Club Riches, you will be given the option of claiming a welcome bonus or opting out of it.
The welcome bonus is geared towards casino players and has not yet been updated for sportsbook customers. Here is what you get:
- 1st deposit – 100% match bonus and up to INR 50,000
- 2nd deposit – 50% match bonus and up to INR 25,000
- 3rd deposit – 25% match bonus and up to INR 25,000
This makes a generous INR 100,000 in total, which has to be played through at the casino within 30 days. It is important to note that only one bonus at a time can be active at Club Riches. Also, wagering for this bonus is 30x deposit and bonus money, which is quite a lot.
Deposits with ecoPayz are excluded from this deposit.
Other promotions include reload bonuses, cashback offers or free spins as well as various tournaments or specials, which are subject to change, though. Overall, casino players should be quite happy with the promotions on offer, though sportsbook users may not be quite as enthusiastic as there do not currently appear to be any promotions or bonuses available for punters. There is not even a welcome offer geared towards sports, though we hope this will be added in the future.
Club Riches does not provide a separate banking page and their FAQ section is also quite limited in regards to information about deposits and withdrawals. You will be pointed towards the bottom of the homepage, where the payment methods available in your country will show up with their logos.
In India, this includes:
- Net Banking
- Bitcoin and other cryptos
This means most customers from India will likely find a convenient payment option to make deposits and withdrawals here.
Further information will only be available once you visit the cashier, which includes potential fees and transaction limits.
We only know of a transaction limit of €3,000 (or currency equivalent) for withdrawals, but the terms and conditions mention nothing further.
Additionally, you will need to go through the KYC process eventually. We generally recommend that you get this sorted prior to making your first withdrawal as they can be strict and time consuming.
When you need help at Club Riches, you can search through the small FAQ section, browser the various pages for further information or click on the little yellow ‘help’ button in the bottom right-hand corner. A ‘bot’ will be available here, which gives you the option to ask a question and receive a link or scripted answer. Or you click ‘Get in touch’, which then offers you to choose live chat or leave a message.
We’ve not seen it done like this before but certainly don’t mind it as it is easy enough and even reasonably useful.
Of course, we wish the FAQ section would be bigger and cover more topics, but you do get the option of asking questions there as well and perhaps that helps expand this section in the future.
Our main focus is the sportsbook, of course, and we already mentioned that we found it quite user-friendly. It is not just pleasant on the eye with its light colours and simple layout, but the navigation is intuitive, and we found it really easy to find our way around here.
The bet slip is also easy to use, and the updates are quick when you are in the live betting section or odds are changing due to the events going on in a match.
The casino feels really quite different, offering a classy experience that does sort of feel as if you are in an exclusive casino club. Colours are dark with golden highlights and there is also a large banner with current highlight, events and promotions, which is not available at the sportsbook.
Of course, the site is fully optimised for mobile use, which means you can use the sportsbook easily on the go as well. There are no dedicated mobile apps, however, though we wouldn’t be surprised to see them in the future as Club Riches is quite the ambitious venture.
We liked Club Riches when it first launched as an online casino, and we like them even more now that they have added a good sportsbook with solid cricket betting options and plenty of other sports favoured by Indian punters.
Whilst we have a few gripes such as the lack of live streaming, no big jackpots, no payments page or the lack of a dedicated sports bonus or even free bets, we recognise that some of these things are likely to change in the future. This is, after all, still a very new casino and sportsbook and they have already shown themselves to be forward-thinking and able to develop.
From what they have been doing until now, we can tell they have a lot further to go and we’ll be curious to see what they will come up with in the future. For now, we can certainly give them our stamp of approval as a solid cricket betting site for customers from India.
