Central Hinds is going to get one more chance at getting the better of the Northern Districts, something that they were unable to do in the previous match. Since every weekend in the Hallyburton Johnstone ODI Shield 2021 sees teams play each other twice, you do not have to wait for long to get your revenge.
Central Hinds vs Northern Districts Hallyburton Johnstone ODI Shield 2021 is going to be played at Pukekura Park, New Plymouth on the 14th of March 2021.
A batting failure from the Central Hinds dented their chances of getting to a competitive total. Only Tomlinson was able to get a decent score as she finished with 57 runs to her name. Atkinson and Hansen also got some runs down the order to help Central Hinds reach 176.
The bowlers did not have much to defend and they never really made an impact either. Early wickets were the only way that Central Hinds was going to make a match of it but that did not happen. As a result, they lost the game in 35 overs.
Hansen and Rees were the only two bowlers to pick up a wicket.
Jess Watkin, Georgia Atkinson, Anlo Van Deventer, Kerry-Anne Tomlinson, Hannah Rowe, Mikaela Greig, Kate Gaging, Rosemary Mair, Melissa Hansen, Claudia Green, Ashtuti Kumar.
The Northern Districts did not have to stretch much to win the previous match and they would be very confident of doing the same again. They clearly have a stronger batting lineup and almost all of the top-order batters seem to be in good form.
Anderson and Leydon-Davis batted aggressively to finish off the game after Gurrey and Halliday had set up a nice base for them to work with.
Naidu, Templeton, and Halliday were the three best bowlers on the day, however, there is a lot more depth in the bowling attack.
The Northern Districts have a stronger team in all aspects.
Brooke Halliday, Caitlin Gurrey, Kate Anderson, Felicity Leydon-Davis, Eimear Richardson, Lucy Boucher, Makayla Templeton, Olivia Lobb, Nensi Patel, Charlotte R Sarsfield, Shriya Naidu.
The team that wins the toss would like to bat first and set up a nice big total to defend.

The conditions in New Plymouth are expected to be good for cricket. The weather forecast is favorable and the pitch should be pretty good for batting. There will be some swing with the new ball as happens on most days in New Zealand.
We think Northern Districts should be able to win this game with ease. They have a stronger batting lineup, are in better form, and their bowling is superior too.
Bet on Northern Districts to win.
