The world’s number one ranked team and the favorites to win the ICC World Cup 2019, England, are going to be in action against Bangladesh in this upcoming match. England was defeated by Pakistan in its previous match, a result that was quite unexpected, and something that will definitely affect its preparation going forward.
Bangladesh won its first match against South Africa and was very impressive against New Zealand as well. It eventually ended up losing against New Zealand by two wickets but it showed clearly that it cannot be regarded as a weak team any longer.
If England thought that this match was going to be an easy win then it is going to be mistaken.
England vs Bangladesh cricket world cup 2019 is going to be played at Sophia Gardens, Cardiff, a venue where there has been plenty of help for the fast bowlers so far. Will England’s bowling attack be able to run through the Bangladeshi’s or will the green pitch make life difficult for the hard-hitting England batsmen?
After a fantastic and professional performance against South Africa, England fell short of chasing down a big score against Pakistan. It may not have been England’s best performance but it was far from a bad one.
The England team bowled well in patches, batted quite well, but fielded very badly. The lapses in the field were what cost England the match at the end of the day.
No one expected England to win the World Cup without losing a single match but there are some matches that a side can afford to lose more than others. This next match against Bangladesh is going to be one that England must win.
We don’t think there is any need for English supporters to panic just yet. England’s biggest strength has been its batting and they have been doing pretty well in that regard. Most of their batsmen are in form including Jason Roy, Joe Root, Ben Stokes, Eoin Morgan, and Jos Buttler.
The England side likes to chase and the pressure of chasing down big totals in the World Cup is something different from ordinary ODI matches. This is why we think they might want to rethink their strategy and actually try to bat first in some matches also.
The Bangladesh bowling attack is not very dangerous and includes a lot of spin. We think that Joe Root is going to be the most important batsman for England in this match as well. He is very good against spin and in good form.
England has preferred to play on flat-batting conditions but has also won all over the world in different circumstances.
The fast bowling unit for England is very good. Jofra Archer made a real impact in the first match but then struggled against Pakistan. The Bangladesh batsmen are not going to sit back and bow down to short bowling so England would do better than just try to focus on the short ball.
Mark Wood was brought in for the previous match and did not quite well so England may just play the same team as the last match. Adil Rashid was taken apart by Pakistan and will hope to come back strongly against Bangladesh.
JJ Roy, Jonny Bairstow, JE Root, Eoin Morgan, BA Stokes, Jos Buttler, CR Woakes, Jofra Chioke Archer, AU Rashid, LE Plunkett, M Wood.
The ICC World Cup 2019 has started very well for Bangladesh. Their win over South Africa will definitely rank high in the country’s ODI achievements and they almost pulled off another win against New Zealand as well.
If they somehow do manage to beat England then a semi-final spot is surely within their grasp.
Soumya Sarkar has been very impressive at the start of the inning but needs to make the most of this good form. He has been getting a fluent twenty or thirty and then throwing away his wicket. If he and Tamim Iqbal can stitch together a good start then England is going to be rattled.
Shakib Al Hasan is in superb form and is our early pick for the best all-rounder in World Cup 2019.
The middle-order of Shakib Al Hasan, Mushfiqur Rahim, and Mahmudullah are experienced and have played in enough good matches to be able to maintain their composure in difficult situations. Bangladesh will have good memories of playing against England. It was the defeat that they inflicted on England in 2015 that set about the massive transformation of the English side.
Bangladesh must approach this game as having nothing to lose and continue to apply the pressure on England. A fighting total with contributions from their batsmen will start to bring the doubts in England once again.
We think the batting that Bangladesh has is good enough to put up a fight in this match. The real questions are going to be about its bowling.
Will Bangladesh want to gamble on playing an extra fast bowler in conditions that have been helpful to them so far? They have bowlers like Abu Jayed and Rubel Hossain in the wings that could come into the side and make an immediate impact.
If the batsmen are willing to take some extra responsibility then Mohammad Saifuddin could be the one making way for another fast bowler. Bangladesh is expected to lose this match which this is why we believe they must go all-out for the win because there is pressure on them.
Tamim Iqbal, Soumya Sarkar, Shakib Al Hasan, Mushfiqur Rahim, Mohammad Mithun, Mahmudullah, Mosaddek Hossain, Mohammad Saifuddin, Mehidy Hasan, Mashrafe Mortaza, Mustafizur Rahman.
The team winning the toss is going to want to bat second. The overcast conditions have helped the fast bowlers at Cardiff and both teams will want to gain that advantage.

England vs Bangladesh ICC World Cup 2019 match is going to be played at the Sophia Gardens, Cardiff. The weather forecast for Cardiff is not very bad and even though there are some clouds around, we should be able to get a full game in without any trouble.
The pitch in Cardiff has been green and helpful to the seamers. The two matches played there have been low scoring ones but that could also have something to do with the quality of batsmen. We think England and Bangladesh will be able to give a better account of themselves and score many more runs in the conditions.
A score of around 280-300 can be expected to be scored.
The Dream11 team for England vs Bangladesh should be made taking into consideration the conditions in Cardiff where the fast bowlers have prospered. We believe that a much higher-scoring match is likely between England and Bangladesh than we what we have seen so far but ignoring recent history is foolish as well. The toss is going to play an important role and this is why we update the Dream11 team for every World Cup 2019 match on Twitter after the toss result. Follow @cricketbettings for the latest updates.
Wicketkeeper: The new Dream11 rules allow for a lot of combinations while picking the side. We have taken advantage of that and included three wicketkeeping options in our team. Jos Buttler, Mushfiqur Rahim, and Jonny Bairstwo are all top-class batsmen that are essential to their team's success. Buttler scored a magnificent century in the previous match, Jonny Bairstow looked in good touch before getting out and Mushfiqur Rahim has also been batting very well.
Batsmen: We have selected just the three minimum options from this category. Joe Root is an obvious choice and is going to be in almost every single Dream11 team. Root is a brilliant fifty-over batsman, is very good against spin, and is in superb form. Eoin Morgan will play a crucial role for England in the middle overs against the Bangladeshi spinners and is in good touch too. Soumya Sarkar is our 'risky selection' for this match. he has been timing the ball well but has not got a big score to his name so far. Hopefully, he can turn things around in this match.
All-rounders: Shakib Al Hasan is scoring runs, picking wickets, and taking catches. As the number one all-rounder in the world, his class is well-established. Ben Stokes is the other all-rounder we have selected for this match. His fast bowling is going to be tricky to face in helpful conditions and he has already played one match-winning knock with the bat in the cricket world cup 2019.
Bowlers: Jofra Archer and Mark Wood will be the fastest bowlers in this match. Both of them are going to pose the biggest threat to the Bangladeshi batsmen and could end up picking a lot of wickets.
Mehidy Hasan has a good record against England and his off-spin could come in handy against the many left-handers that England has.
Captain and Vice-Captain: We have decided to pick Shakib Al Hasan as captain and Joe Root as the vice-captain for this match.

Bangladesh has been very good in this World Cup and they are the team to bet on to cause more shocks down the line. They will have to play the game of their lives to be able to beat a superb England team. The odds being offered are very good but we still would not recommend betting on them.
Punters can think of putting a small bet on Bangladesh before the match and then hedging later on but that would be a huge risk. We think England will win eventually and that is where the smart money should go.
Bet on England to win.
