Both teams playing this match lost their opening warm-up matches. That is not really too much to read into as teams are focussing on giving as many of their key players some time in the middle as possible. We could see some reshuffling in the teams once more. Of course, neither team is going to want to lose two matches in a row as they get ready for the main event either.
Match prediction and cricket betting tips for England vs New Zealand T20 World Cup 2021 Warm-Up match. The venue for this game is the Tolerance Oval, Abu Dhabi and it will be played on the 20th of October 2021.
England played nearly its full-strength team in the first match as it looked to give all of its players some time in the middle. We think the same is going to be the case for this match as well. Jason Roy looked in good touch before getting out and Jos Buttler also seemed to be getting in form. In fact, England's batting was very impressive and almost all the batsmen scored runs. Jonny Bairstow and Moeen li provided the spark in the middle-order that England was missing. We could see Dawid Malan and Eoin Morgan get some time in the middle to try and get some runs under their belt as well.
Adil Rashid had a terrible time in the previous match but he is going to be the key man against New Zealand. We are also likely to see Tymal Mills play this match as he is almost a sure starter for England in the World Cup. The depth in the squad and a strong batting lineups gives England the advantage.
Jos Buttler, Jason Roy, Dawid Malan, Eoin Morgan, Jonny Bairstow, Liam Livingstone, Sam Billings, CR Woakes, Chris Jordan, Tymal Mills, AU Rashid, Mark Wood.
New Zealand struggled in the opening match but it is not a team that you ever want to underestimate. The team made an interesting decision to open with Daryl Mitchell in the previous match and we think Devon Conway could be given that role in this match. Conway is perhaps the best T20 batsman for New Zealand right now.
Glen Phillips will also have a big role to play for New Zealand in the middle order. Overall, though, New Zealand's batting could struggle in the slow conditions that the UAE is experiencing.
Ish Sodhi and Mitch Santner are going to be the key bowlers for New Zealand in this tournament. They were the ones that scripted New Zealand's famous victory over India in the previous edition of the T20 World Cup and will be expected to lead the way once more.
The fast-bowlers could see some rotation to allow for adequate rest.

The team that wins the toss is going to want to bat first.

The conditions in Abu Dhabi have been dry and spin-friendly. The same is going to be the case for this match. We think England is going to encounter slower conditions than it did in the previous match. Expect a lower-scoring match with the par score somewhere around 140-150.
We are going to back England to win because we think it has the depth in the squad to experiment and still not lose quality.
Bet on England to win.
