The Finnish Pakistani Club (FPC) suffered a defeat against GYM Helsinki Gymkahana (GHG) and looked a bit rusty in its opening match of the Finnish Premier League T20. It will now take on the Vantaa Cricket Club (VCC), another team that has lost the only match it has played so far.
Both the teams are going to want to get their first win of the FPL T20 as soon as possible.
FPC vs VCC Finnish Premier League T20 2020 is going to be played at Kerava National Cricket Ground, Kerava on the 10th of June 2020.
FPC started its first match pretty well and kept things tight with the ball. It managed to keep HG down to 107 in its allotted 20 overs. That is not a difficult score to chase down but FPC eventually fell 9 runs short.
Mohammad Tariq Sarfraz bowled well and took two wickets while Bilal Khan was the pick of the bowlers. Khan also took two wickets but gave away just nine runs in his four overs.
Most of the other bowlers performed well also.
FPC had an opening partnership of 28 runs in just 3.3 overs. They were completely in the driving seat at that moment but were never able to reach that point again. A series of poor batting decisions led them to collapse for 98.
The bating is going to be the bugbear for FPC throughout this competition. Waseem Qureshi, Bilal Khan, and Muhammad Aqeel are the three batsmen from which FPC has to try and get the majority fo the runs.
The rest that follow are just not trustworthy enough.

VCC played in the first match of the Finnish Premier League T20 but has since been out of action. That is a pretty long break for a tournament in which there so many matches. VCC was beaten soundly by the Helsinki Cricket Club in its opening encounter and must improve in almost every aspect of the game to be competitive.
They made some unexpected decisions in choosing the playing eleven and maybe that could change.
Players such as G Pensia and T Jayanth Premasiri were left on the bench when they should certainly have been a part of the playing eleven. Player availability can be a major issue in tournaments like these where the players also have other jobs and commitments.
We advise all the punters to watch the match and actually see the playing eleven for VCC. If they decide to go in with the same set of players as last time then they are unlikely to win. If, however, VCC does bring back some of its better players like Pensia and Premasiri then they have a good chance of winning.

The weather is not expected to be too good for the upcoming few days. There is a lot of rain expected and we could have difficulty in getting games in at all. The likelihood of DLS calculations coming into the equation is also very high.
The pitch was already difficult to score on and the rain is not going to make things any easier.
A total of 120 is going to be pretty decent to defend in such circumstances.
The chances of getting any cricket seem to be slim right now but we are hopeful of getting lucky with the rain. The two teams seem pretty evenly matched at this stage. We have to stick with the Finnish Pakistani Club right now because the availability of players for VCC is not very clear.
