The Quetta Gladiators would have been thrilled with their opening pair in PSL 2022 so far. Will Smeed scored a brilliant 90 plus score in the first match while the opening pair also put on 76 for the first wicket in their chase against the Karachi Kings.

Ben Duckett, Sarafarz Ahmed, and Iftikhar Ahmed help add some power and stability to the batting order while Sohail Tanvir and Mohammad Nawaz play the role of the all-rounders. We think both all-rounders are batting one position too high for their ability and this lack of depth could come to hurt the Gladiators in a close match.
The Quetta Gladiators are yet another PSL team with a staggeringly good bowling lineup. Naseem Shah, Mohammad Hasnain, and Sohail Tanvir lead the fast-bowling while Mohammad Nawaz is the spinner to keep things tight in the middle. James Faulkner has been designated as the death bowler and the Quetta Gladiators would be hoping that is able to find his best form soon.
The Gladiators have a good lineup but they really need their opening p[air to fire in order to be competitive.

The Multan Sultans can do no wrong at the moment. Set a daunting 206 by the Lahore Qalandars in the previous match, the Sultans managed to get over the line thanks to another brilliant batting performance from its openers. Mohammad Rizwan scored 69 (his seventh fifty-plus score in his previous ten innings) while Shan Masood top-scored with 83.
Rizwan has been in this kind of form for over a year now and so we are not going to be betting against him. The betting markets are not the most favorable to bet on him either and so you can probably ignore him at this point in time.
Sohaib Maqsood, Rilee Rossouw, Tim David, and Khushdil Shah form what is probably the strongest batting lineup in PSL 2022. The openers are almost unerringly consistent and the middle order has enough power to clear the boundaries at will.
No question that the Multan Sultans are the stronger batting lineup.
The bowling attack for the Multan Sultans has not performed at its best. Imran Tahir is the only exception as he has picked wickets and kept the runs tight as well. However, Imran Khan, Shahnawz Dahani, and David Willey have found the going a bit tough so far.
This is where a strong batting lineup can probably put the Multan Sultans under pressure.

The conditions are expected to be very good for cricket. The weather is good and there is no rain expected. As far as the pitch goes, it is a brilliant batting surface with an exceptionally fast outfield as well. This means that the matches have been very high-scoring for the most part.
